The event is back in its fourth year and will be bigger and better than ever! The 2013 Seahawks 12K Run at The Landing is sure to provide a day of fun for the whole family. The event will also feature the GLOW 5K Run/Walk that will tour The Landing and surrounding Renton neighborhoods, as well as a Half-Mile Kids Run that will be completely contained within The Landing.

The Seahawks 12K Run will start and finish at The Landing, run along the Southeast shore of Lake Washington and offer participants a unique opportunity to run around the Seahawks training facility, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center. Thank you to the over 5,000 Seahawks fans that participated in the 2013 Seahawks 12K Run! It is truly amazing to watch the growth of this race in just four years. Thank you to all of the amazing sponsors of this race including the Seattle Seahawks, Valley Medical and all of the Landing tenants that participated in product donations, prizes and more. Stay tuned as our Seattle Seahawks continue their off-season with the NFL draft and upcoming football season! Go Hawks!

Event Day Schedule
7:30am to 8:45am – Day of Race Registration*
9:00am – Start of Seahawks 12K Run & GLOW 5K Run/Walk
10:30am – Start of Seahawks Play 60 Kids Run (open to all kids 10 & under)
*Registration for each race will close 15 minutes prior to the start of the race
Routes
The Seahawks 12K Run is an out-and-back route that will start at The Landing, run North along the Southeast shore of Lake Washington and offer participants a unique opportunity to run around the Seahawks’ training facility, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, before turning back to run South along Lake Washington Blvd. and returning to finish at The Landing. The GLOW 5K Run/Walk route is a very flat, fast 3.1 mile route that winds through The Landing then heads south into surrounding Renton neighborhoods. Please click here to download a route map and detailed route information. This is a USATF certified course.
Play 60 Kids Run route is a half-mile run that is completely contained within The Landing. The route also splits at about an 8th of a mile for the younger kids who may not be able to make the full half-mile distance. Registered Kids Run participants will receive a kids t-shirt and a finishers ribbon. Open to all kids 10 and under.
ROOT SPORTS Seahawks Spirit Contest
Once again, the ROOT SPORTS Seahawks Spirit Contest is back! This is your chance to show your Seahawks 12th Man spirit! Run in your jerseys, wigs, face paint, tutus, and other Seahawks gear for your chance to win an award for BEST COSTUME!
The Mucho Burrito “Home Stretch”
Representatives from Mucho Burrito will be lining the finish to help cheer you on during the final 100yds of your run! They also want to help you refuel at The Landing location on race day and the week following by offering $1 off any food purchase – all you have to do is show your bib!

The Top 3 overall male and female finishers in each race, will receive custom Seahawks 12K Run at The Landing footballs.
